Love, Loss, Exile

  • Lenard Hall, Community School of the Arts 450 South Eagleville Road Mansfield, CT, 06268 United States (map)

Join us for a riveting program of music for soprano, cello, and piano! This program centers around Juhi Bansal’s song cycle, Love, Loss, Exile, which features poetry written anonymously by women in Afghanistan in order to tell their own personal stories without fear of retribution. The program is complemented by other cycles that follow aspects of that theme, including works by Ravel, André Previn, Bartók, and Strauss. DeCaprio will be joined by fellow UConn alumnus and soprano Anastasia Rege and pianist Min Young Kang.

We are so grateful to partner with the Mansfield Community School of the Arts to present this concert!

Seating is limited. Free with required reservation via Mansfieldcc.com (Activity #: 136001-A) or stop by the Community Center to sign up. Please contact info@arazzofestival.org with any questions.
